Head 500m upriver from Cromel Base hut along the 4WD track to reach the signpost marking the start of the Mt Bee track.
The track climbs steeply through beech forest, following the spur to the bushedge. At the bushedge, markers become sporadic. Climb a further 100m up the spur until you are above bush/scrub to your north, before sidling NE past pt 1005 to hit the Mt Bee track at the saddle south of Mt Bee Bunkrooms. The sidle is marked with warratahs. The track junction is not marked.
