Follow a 4WD track up and away from the river, following the relevant signs. Head through intermittent forest and bushes, before breaking out onto an open face. Continue up the boggy face and go back into the forest until the Bryant Range is crested. Head along the range, over Little Twin, before descending to a saddle. Climb back up to Dun Mountain, and Dun Shelter is situated in a hollow below the mountain.
