A gravelled, benched tramping track winds north 100m back from the coast from Pipi Tuaraki Stream to the end of the 4WD track at Track Burn. Passing through thick, mature bush there are few views though the sound of the surf is close by. Just beyond the Track Burn a signposted track junction marks the turnoff to Teal Bay via The Hump.
