When you drive past you will see a small area beside the road cleared by track entrance where you can park. When driving up from lake taupo, it's on your right, just before the 2 small white signs (showing there is a stream there). One has "29/12.6 ERP' written on it.

It's hard to miss when you know, but easy to miss if you're not paying attention.
