Carpark adjacent to the Glenorchy-Queenstown Road on the south bank of Buckler Burn. Signposted off the main road.

Access to Mt Judah Track - several historic day-use only huts: Jean Hut, Boozer Hut, Bonnie Jean Hut. Overnight huts reached by tracks from here include Heather Jock, Macintrye, and Mackintosh Huts with other more adventurous destinations via routes.
