Flat highpoint on the main Ruahine range, scattered with small tarns. Some 300m SE ofthe marked pt1503. The point where the main range route swings NE towards Piopio and Aranga Hut. Continuing NNW along the higher tops leads to a track dropping west off the range towards Potae and Ruahine Corner Hut, or north down a long spur dropping to Ikawetea Forks Hut.
