From the saddle, head South West along the ridge. The ridge is fairly open and while not clearly marked, easy to follow. At 730 (45 minutes) an old road is met which speeds up travel. The short piece of road heading south on the map appears to be longer, heading out of site down the spur. Follow the road through the bush to a T junction (25 minutes) with road heading to the north and south. There is a small pond here and a clearing.
Carry on up through the bush on a less obvious track to a small clearing with taped track markers heading to the North and South. Take the track north and follow it along until the open clearing is reached.
The track is a combination of unmarked ridge and open mapped 4wd roadway.
