Access track clearly marked by standard large orange DOC triangles on river. Steep climb through bush up to tops. Maybe 1.5hrs to tops? Water available 5mins before you break out of bush. Follow ridgelines up of Motutere and along tops. Drop off to camp in big tussock hanging basin. Flat tent sites and water available.
