The most common route west from Worsley Pass (according to the Worsley Biv hut book is via pt1315). Wilst I struggled to find a good route west of pt1315, the ascent from Worsley Pass to pt1315 was straight forward.

From Worsley Pass / Chasm Creek confluence, head up the spur north of Chasm Creek through brief low scrub then good tussock. At about 1250m good gentle tussock faces start above the steep Tawhana valley. Sidle these west then NW to pt1315, avoiding dropping into bluff systems below. Approaching prt1315 the ridgeline drops to meet you and can be followed to the knob. Impressive fault-lines cross the ridgeline -thankfully rubble filled and easily crossed.
